BioCera^TM has same structure as BBP® but is coated with calcium-phosphate (Ca-P) nano-crystal thin film for superior regenerative ability. Ca-P enhances bone regeneration; it attracts growth factors in human blood such as PDGF and TGF-?, and it lets stem cells to differentiate into bone forming cells (osteoblasts) during new bone formation.

Furthermore, it attracts osteoclasts and converts them into host bone to promote faster bone remodeling process. Alike BBP®, fat and organic components are completely removed prior to its radiation sterilization after packaging, and OCT guarantees no immune response and safety problem.
